Throughout the year, volunteers are provided numerous opportunities them to earn volunteer hours and demonstrate their dedication to the city.
Volunteers of the Year
The Volunteer of the Year award is based on a point system, evaluating your performance based on attendance, participation, and overall contribution. It is an opportunity to encourage volunteers to participate in our events and work more closely with Team Daisy Wai to enhance and unify the Richmond Hill community. By the end of the year, the volunteer who collects the most points will be recognized as Volunteer of the Year, along with the first and second runners-up.

No, everyone is welcome to register and participate in our volunteer program.
How are the volunteer hours calculated?
Volunteer hours are calculated through different volunteering opportunities as well as events throughout the year. We calculate the hours from summer till the end of the school year.
Do I have to be in High School to be a volunteer?
We welcome anyone with the passion and dedication to serve the community—regardless of age, not just high school students. Everyone is encouraged to get involved and make a difference.
